i have nooo idea; she joined my RPG.

Grandma lowered the baseball bat, and stared at her.
"Oh," she said, slowly, "I thought were an alien.."
She blinked, and then stepped back.

o.o Oh wellz; it's not me. lmao

Alice nodded "Uh, okay?" she walked over to the table and sat down. "Grandma..? Did you know about mom and dad dying in the crash?" she needed more sources..

Grandma nodded.
"Of course," she said, setting the baseball down on the kitchen counter.
"Why do you ask?"

Alice sighed, "Why didn't anyone tell me till tonight?" she rubbed her temples and closed her eyes in frustration. "Well, will you tell me about the wreck? Shane won't budge no matter what I do.. and you seem to know about it." she opened her eyes hoping her Grandma would at least tell her more than Shane would.

Grandma shrugged, "I don't know much."
She leaned against the counter, yawning.
"The hospital called that night, and told me over the phone. Apparently, your brother was driving home from your parents' anniversary party because your mom and dad had too much champagne."

Alice nodded and rested her head on the table, "What about me? What did you hear about me that night..?" she mumbled. "What did the hospital tell you about me?" she wanted to know. She didn't know where she came in in the story. At all.

Grandma blinked.
"They told me you were dead," she confessed. "But an hour after, your brother called to tell me that they had a mix-up or something."
She shrugged.
"That's why I don't trust doctors."

Alice sat up and mumbled some stuff to herself then looked back at her grandma. She tilted her head and looked back towards the living room when she heard something. She shook it off and looked back over, "Crazy how we were all pronounced dead, except Shane." she thought for a minute "And he was even driving."

oh snap - what'd she hear in the living room? Shane? rotfl.

Grandma seemed to take this into consideration.
"I suppose you're right," she nodded. "That is kind of strange."
With a shrug, she said, "But I don't really know what that would mean.. It's not like he could have made something up like that.."

lmao idk. He could be creepin! or a mouse x)

Alice nodded "You want an ice cream sundae? I make a mean one, and I always eat chocolate at night when I can't sleep or I'm worried." she got up and started getting out stuff left and right, she was a pretty fair cook. And she absolutely looooved chocolate.

lol, okay.

Grandma nodded, slowly.
"I think that sounds delicious."
She sat down at the table, putting on her glasses.

Alice smiled, maybe she could get along with her grandma. She got out two glasses and began scooping out some ice cream, "Chocolate or caramel and do you want nuts?" she asked as get drown hers in both chocolate and caramel. She smiled as it drizzled perfectly. She got the whip cream out and made a cute little pile on top. Sadly enough, Grandma was out of cherries.

"Chocolate.. and no thank you."
Grandma watched her make her way around the kitchen, making the sundaes.
She smiled, a bit surprised that Alice knew how to cook.
She had always assumed Alice was just another goody-too-shoes.
Perhaps, she had been wrong.

Alice drizzled the chocolate onto the ice cream then put the whip cream on top. She drizzled more chocolate on top and slowly pulled a canteen out of her pocket. She put a little bit of alcohol in her own, just to help her sleep a little better. She put it back in her pocket and walked over giving Grandma her sundae then handing her a spoon. She sat down, across from her and dug in.

"Thanks."
Grandma picked up her spoon, taking a bite.
"Woah, this is really good," she said, taking another bite.

Alice smiled "Thank you" she began eating hers in silence. "How have you been..?" she asked after eating most of the whip cream off the top of her sundae.

Grandma looked up from her sundae.
"I've been fine," she shrugged.
"What about you? You and your brother staying out of trouble?"

Shane grabbed his jacket, and slipped outside, trying to be as quiet as he could.
He needed to get out of there.. he felt like Alice might try to ask him even more questions when she realized that he was awake.
Shane sighed, walking down the abandoned street and into the night.

Alice shrugged "I've had my better days." she ate more as her ear slightly twitched. She ignored it and rubbed her eyes. She wanted to keep a conversation going but didn't really know how. "What are you doing tomorrow?" she asked. She figured she just might spend the day with her and Shane. It would be horrible, but she'd be doing something.

Grandma set her spoon down gingerly.
She glanced over at the calender hanging on the wall beside the fridge.
"Nothing really important," she answered, "I have to run a few errands.. would you and your brother like to tag along?"

Alice nodded "That would be great." she mumbled with a mouth full. She swallowed and wiped her chin off, "Sorry." she laughed at her poor manners. She could taste the alcohol that had mixed in with the melted ice cream. Finishing it off, she collected the cups and spoons and set them in the sink.

Grandma smiled.
"Good! We have plenty of catching up to do anyway.. I haven't seen the two of you in a year."
She stood up with a yawn.
"Well, I'm off to bed.. Goodnight, Alice."

Alice nodded, "Night, Grandma" she smiled and waved. Maybe they could get along.. she sighed after she left. "Sleep time, attempt two.." she walked back towards the living room and glanced around.


Shall she notice?

hmm; maybe she'll notice him when he sneaks back in in the morning or something ;D

idk what the other characters are doing - maybe we should make something happen that brings them all together, idk what though. rotfl.

Shane quietly opened the door, and slipped back inside the apartment.
He closed it behind him with a faint click, and pulled off his jacket.
Glancing at Alice, he walked into the kitchen to find something to eat.
